Landed House Moving Services in Singapore

For more than 18 years, Rodex Movers has assisted homeowners with landed house moves across Singapore. No matter the size of your property, from a terrace house to a Good Class Bungalow (GCB), we’ll help make the move organized, efficient, and professionally managed.

A landed home often comes with more than just extra space. Over the years, furniture, outdoor items, family keepsakes, and everyday belongings naturally build up, making the move a little more involved than a typical apartment relocation. Some homes span several floors, while others have oversized furniture or home gym equipment that takes extra planning to move safely. That’s why taking the time to prepare before moving day can make all the difference.

Over the years, Rodex Movers has helped families relocate homes of all sizes across Singapore. From protective wrapping and furniture dismantling to loading, transportation, and setting everything up in your new home, every stage of the move is handled with the same attention to detail. It’s a practical approach that’s helped thousands of homeowners relocate with confidence over the years.

What’s Included

What’s Included in Our Landed House Moving Service

No two landed homes are exactly alike. That’s why we adapt every move to suit the layout of your property, the amount you’re relocating, and anything that needs a little extra attention along the way.

Furniture Dismantling & Reassembly

Large furniture doesn’t always fit neatly through doorways, staircases, or tight corners. Where needed, we’ll dismantle larger pieces before transport and reassemble them at your new home. Our furniture assembly and dismantling services are included at no additional cost.

Protective Wrapping & Packing Materials

Before anything is loaded, furniture and fragile belongings are wrapped using suitable packing materials to help minimise scratches, dents, and accidental damage during transport.

Careful Handling of Large & Fragile Items

From delicate glass display cabinets to bulky household furniture, our experienced movers handle every item with the appropriate level of care. If your move includes specialized items, simply let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Multi-Storey Home Moving

Carrying furniture up and down multiple flights of stairs calls for a little more planning than a standard move. Our movers work through each level methodically to help keep the relocation safe and organized.

Safe Transport Across Singapore

Whether you’re moving to a nearby neighbourhood or across the island, your belongings are transported in vehicles suited to the size of your move and handled carefully from collection to delivery.

Placement Throughout Your New Home

Once we arrive, we’ll unload your belongings and place furniture and boxes in the rooms you’ve designated. If you need furniture repositioned before we leave, simply let our team know.

Optional Add-On Services

Need additional support? Include packing & unpacking, temporary storage, disposal services, or specialized moving solutions. We’ll tailor the quotation to suit your requirements.

How Much Does a Landed House Moving Service Cost in Singapore?

Because landed properties vary so much in size, no two moving quotations are exactly the same. A compact terrace house and a multi-storey bungalow require different levels of manpower, equipment, and planning:

Property size and move volume: larger homes typically require additional manpower and larger moving vehicles

Accessibility: staircases, carry distance, parking access, and the overall layout of both properties

Bulky or specialized items: large wardrobes, home gym equipment, outdoor furniture, or other oversized belongings

Optional services: packing and unpacking, temporary storage, disposal services, and moving insurance

Every landed house move is different, so the easiest way to get a rough estimate is to use our Instant Price Estimator. For a more accurate quotation, simply submit your enquiry and we’ll arrange a site survey if required.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Landed House Moving Services

We do. Terrace houses, semi-detached homes, detached houses and GCBs are all part of the residential moves we carry out across Singapore.
Not necessarily. While landed homes often involve more belongings, multiple floors, or larger furniture, the cost depends on the actual scope of your move rather than the property type itself. At Rodex Movers, we don’t charge more simply because you’re moving to or from a landed property. Your quotation is based on factors such as the volume of items, accessibility, manpower required, and any additional services you choose.
For most landed house relocations, yes. A site survey allows us to assess the size of your property, the volume of belongings, access conditions, and any bulky or specialized items that may require additional planning. This helps us provide an accurate quotation and prepare the right crew for moving day.
We’ll always do our best to accommodate urgent moving requests, subject to availability. Contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll check our schedule to see the earliest moving slot we can offer.
Weekend and public holiday moves may be subject to an additional surcharge, depending on your preferred moving date. If applicable, we’ll include any additional charges in your quotation upfront, so you’ll know the total cost before confirming your booking.
Certainly. If you’d rather not spend days packing boxes, our team can take care of it before moving day. Professional packing and unpacking services are available as an optional add-on.
If you’ve booked our packing service, we recommend keeping important documents, jewellery, cash, medications, and other personal valuables with you. Our team can take care of packing the remaining household items unless you’ve made other arrangements.
Yes. Professional movers are recommended for fragile, valuable, or oversized items that require extra care during transportation. Our team uses suitable packing materials and protective wrapping techniques to help reduce the risk of damage. If you would like to arrange optional goods-in-transit insurance, let us know when booking your move.
Yes. Our team is experienced in moving bulky furniture within multi-storey homes. Where required, larger items are dismantled before the move and reassembled at your new home using our furniture assembly and dismantling services.
Absolutely. Large furniture is something we deal with every day. We can move outdoor furniture, BBQ equipment, potted plants, storage cabinets, and other outdoor household items as part of your relocation. Let us know what needs to be moved so we can plan accordingly.
Absolutely. Just let us know beforehand if your move includes a piano, aquarium, safe, or any other item that needs extra attention. It gives us time to prepare the right equipment and crew. For pianos and aquariums, we also have dedicated piano moving services and fish tank moving services if specialised handling is required.
Light rain usually won’t stop the move. Our team comes prepared with protective wrapping and suitable packing materials to help keep your belongings dry during loading and unloading. If severe weather affects safety or causes significant delays, we’ll discuss the best way to proceed with you.
Rodex Movers carries public liability insurance as standard. Optional goods-in-transit insurance is also available if you’d like additional protection for your belongings during the move.
We recommend that you or an authorised representative is present throughout the move. This allows our team to confirm furniture placement, answer any questions, and ensure everything is arranged according to your instructions.
Yes. Rescheduling is free with more than 14 working days’ notice. If shorter notice is given, a rescheduling fee may apply. Please let us know as early as possible if your moving plans change.
